From a pump vibration alarm to a draft work order
A pump raises a vibration alarm. The technician scans a QR code and gets the likely cause, the checks in the right order and a draft work order.
Our Maintenance Assistant runs on the technician's phone. After scanning a pump's QR code, it combines the vibration and temperature trends, the work order history and the OEM manual to suggest the likely cause, lists the checks in a sensible order, records the readings and drafts a work order for the planner. A weekly check flags instruments that look unreliable. This page shows it in a demonstration on a fictional plant.

The situation
A pump raises a vibration alarm. The technician on duty has to decide quickly: keep it running, swap to the standby pump or stop. The information needed sits in different places: the trend in the SCADA, the history in the CMMS and the manual on a shelf or a drive.
What the AI does
- Opens the right pump from a QR code on the machine
- Combines trends, work order history and the manual into a likely cause
- Lists the checks in order, with the reason for each
- Records the readings the technician enters
- Drafts the work order with tasks and parts for the planner
- Flags instruments that look unreliable in a weekly health check
What people do
The technician checks, decides and enters the readings. The planner approves the work order. The assistant prepares; people decide.
What this changes
- Less time spent finding information, more time on the fix
- Less experienced technicians follow the same logic as the experts
- Work orders are complete when they reach the planner
Try it on your plant
We test this on one of your lines in an AI pilot: read-only data, a test system and success criteria agreed up front.
Questions we get
Does it connect to our CMMS?
It reads work order history through an export or an interface, depending on your system. Draft work orders go to the planner for approval.
Can it predict the alarm before it happens?
That is the job of our predictive maintenance agent, which watches the signals continuously and warns about drift before an alarm.
